WHAT IS PROGRESS LABEL?
PROGRESS Label is a nearly 10-year old graphic apparel line focussed on combining meaningful messages, good design, and comfortable garments. Our designs are original(unless otherwise noted) and each design works to raise awareness of social values or issues. We only work with high-quality, and super-comfortable shirts. WHAT ARE THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR GARMENTS?
For best results wash like-colored garments inside out to maintain overall garment and print quality. Dry garments on medium or lower heat (or air-dry) to maintain size consistency.
WHAT SIZES DO YOUR GARMENTS COME IN?
We generally keep stock in Small through X-Large for women’s styles and Small through XXL for men’s styles. Onesies are generally available in 4 sizes ranging from 3-6 months up to 18-24months. Please check each individual product for sizing.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
Our t-shirts and tanks are primarily slim-fit aka (fashion-fit) styles, meaning that they are tailored to fit a young adult body. Overall they tend to run slightly smaller in the chest and around the ribs and they are a little longer. Your size largely depends on your fit preference. WHAT APPAREL BRAND DO YOU USE?
We primarily use American Apparel and Royal Apparel brands. The majority of our women’s garment styles are American Apparel and the majority of our men’s garment styles are Royal Apparel. We are always on the lookout for other great American made apparel options.
HOW SECURE IS YOUR STORE?
We can safely say that our website is secure. Our payment gateway is the best in the biz. All payments are made securely using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and a third party payment gateway, Stripe OR Paypal. We don’t process credit cards on site, we don’t store customer financial information and thus your information will always be safe and secure with us.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit and debit cards – Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, & JCB. Paypal processing is also available and we can trust a bitcoin payment gateway, we will make that available in the future.
HOW DO YOUR PRODUCTS SHIP?
We ship all individual and small domestic orders by USPS postal mail. We try to support America’s small post offices and they are less expensive than the commercial options for small packages. Shipping postal also allows us to ship to PO Boxes, which is beneficial to some of our transient and other customers.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
As of January 1, 2014 we now offer FREE shipping, on all orders of $15 or higher. FREE shipping is currently available as a trial offer, but we really hope it will continue permanently. Join the PROGRESS Blacklist to find out when other specials are taking place.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, we offer flat rate international shipping through USPS. We do not offer an expedited International shipping option.
WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE AND PRINTED IN THE USA. Our apparel comes from both the East and West Coast American companies and our printing is done in Wisconsin, in our print shop, Offbeat Press.
WHY ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH AMERICAN-MADE GOODS?
We believe the production of our products is equally important as the end result. The manufacturing and printing conditions of our supply chain tell a lot about the ethics of a business. We are happy to know the facilities our shirts are sewn and proud to own the print shop at Offbeat Press that prints them. In the apparel industry, transparency is an uncommon practice, but we follow the path less traveled. With American-made goods, we have better oversight, transparency, and quality.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We want you to enjoy your Progress products. If there’s a problem with your order or your sizing, you can simply exchange or return it within 30 days. Please refer to our full Return Policy for more info.
WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN INSPIRATION?
We have strong beliefs on a variety of political and social issues, but we our politics are independent. Each apparel graphic design or illustration has its own specific political issue and truths that it seeks to address. Our designs seek to raise awareness, ask questions, or encourage people to see issues from a different perspective. We are sometimes quite satirical and other times more positive, the different subjects call for different social design perspectives. Each PROGRESS Label clothing tag helps convey the truths behind the design. The clothing tag provides the inspiration, with our attempt at a poetic message.
IS PROGRESS A DEMOCRAT T-SHIRT COMPANY?
No. PROGRESS isn’t a Democratic or liberal-leaning t-shirt company. In fact we maintain that we’re that we’re a politically independent business. We don’t pander to the Democratic, Republican, or Libertarian, Green, Communist or any other political party, though we do like parties.
IS PROGRESS A REPUBLICAN T-SHIRT COMPANY?
No. PROGRESS is not a conservative or Republican leaning t-shirt company. We are a politically independent apparel design company. We don’t pander to Democratics, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, Communists or any other political party. We do like partying, but our idea of a party doesn’t usually involve a heavy dose of politics Our politics are issue-based, we weren’t born into a political party. We discovered life and politics in our own way.
IS PROGRESS A COMMUNIST T-SHIRT COMPANY?
Ok, this isn’t actually a frequently asked question, but its’ been asked, so why not address it. Progress doesn’t follow any political parties! We have strong beliefs on a variety of political and social issues. Each apparel graphic and illustration addresses a social or political issue. Our designs seek to raise awareness, ask questions, and encourage positive change in the world around us.
IS PROGRESS A NON-PROFIT?
No, we are a business that works towards a greater good, we are also referred to as a social enterprise. Progress works with many community and national organizations, we are members of many organizations, and we give a portion of our sales to organizations that we support. We give back to our progressive community by donating creative skills, apparel printing, and money. Some local organizations that receive our support include Day by Day Warming Shelter, Esther Fox Valley, Lad Lake, YouthGO, Oshkosh Food Co-op Initiative, Farmshed, and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. PROGRESS and Offbeat(our print shop) are members of the Wisconsin Network for Peace & Justice, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and Green America. On a local and regional level, Offbeat Press offers standard non-profit discounts on t-shirt printing and HYPE(our creative office) offers pro-bono graphic design .
WHAT IS THE PROGRESS BLACKLIST?
The PROGRESS Blacklist is just a fancy (or not so fancy) name for our email list. We use our email list to share fun information including: new releases, sales, limited edition items, and PROGRESS news and events. We will not harass your email account, we will not share or sell your information, and at any time you may discontinue your allegiance to PROGRESS. You will not get a weekly email from Progress, we only email when we’ve got news to share!
