Sustainable Living Roadshow, here I come!

Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bridgette and I will be traveling with the the Sustainable Living Roadshow(SLR) as Progress Label‘s Road Soldier.  I will be offering up the masses a cup of progressive tea, complimentary with every purchase of a delicious t-shirt.  I am currently a student at UW-Oshkosh and am pursuing a degree in Environmental Science.   I just finished working at Olden Produce for the summer, which is a chemical free vegetable farm in Ripon, Wisconisn.  So, I’m ready to exchange my goulashes for some ruby red slippers and head out on my very own yellow brick road.  Well, more like,  gray concrete highway, but you get the idea.  I’m super excited to learn all about their sustainable practices and get a glimpse into the business aspect of the show.  This will also be very beneficial in helping with a more local project I have been involved in as well, starting a food co-op.

I hope you will all join me on my travels with the SLR as we travel the East Coast attending various festivals, marches, markets and universities.  Stay tuned for future posts. Excuse me, but I have to go run away with the carnival now.  Bye!
